22nd Birthday

Michael confiscated my car and had it detailed. It's beauty makes me happy just remembering it.
A family party, dinner, Mom's homemade cake, and a ride on my husband's new motorcycle. FUN!

4:00 pm.
Okay, it's a little blurry, but this was our sky all summer. The colors are pretty acurate, the sky was that dark, the sun varried from pink to orange, and the air was thick with ash. It settled on cars in chunks the size of nickles.

The Motorcycle

All the pieces of the new motorcycle are finally intact.
Time to suit-up.
First test drive...
Everything works!

Glamour shots.
Look at my silly family.
Did you get a good look at Dad in the back?

All Too Familiar

The fact that our cheap-o camera can even pick up the details of this spider should indicate how large the creep was. Even Michael, our farm boy, hadn't ever seen a Wolf Spider this big. He could take down my cat.

Too many stories of these being on me to be comfortable.
